Baseball BBQ is proud to be one of the 100+ artists, makers and small businesses coming together to create and offer original art pieces and fan products for the Virtual Art Show and Sale to benefit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. 

After an initial run in October, we've brought back our a series of customized Baseball BBQ tools that pay homage to 6 classic teams of the Negro Leagues, with laser-engraving of the teams and logos on hardwood bat handles that replicate the dimensions and feel of a well-made bat. When you purchase one of the Limited Edition NLBM Benefit Combo Sets between December 1-31st, we will donate 20% of each sale to support the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. 

About the Philadelphia Stars (1933 - 1952)

After starting as an independent ball club in 1933, the Philadelphia Stars played in the Negro National League from 1934-48 and the Negro American League from 1949-52. The Stars won a controversy-filled 8-game Negro National League Championship over the Chicago American Giants in 1934, taking a seven game series 4-3-1. Notable players included Oscar Charleston, Biz Mackey, Satchel Paige, Turkey Stearnes and Jud Wilson.
